Day to Night Look Using Dupes for Show Pony Palette Shadows

This was a look requested by a friend who is looking to get some mileage out of her Urban Decay Show Pony Palette. She wanted to have a look that she could take from day to night and with such fun colors to play with, I was more than happy to have a go at it! I also used this as an opportunity to change things up and make my first tutorial. When I post my looks and FOTDs, I sometimes feel that I can't explain the way I achieve them very well. Hopefully, a video helps! Please let me know what you think in the comments below or on the youtube video!

For quick reference, here are pictures of the day and night looks.

The difference is subtle, but it's an easy way to amp up a day look for a cocktail hour after work. All you need is your palette, an angled liner brush, and black liner! For even more drama, use a darker purple to line the eyes and smudge the iridescent purple over it. For more fun: replace a daytime nude lip for a berry stained color.
