Review: Korres Shower Gel and Philosphy purite made simple one-step facial cleanser

Last of the Birchbox reviews! ...almost in time to get my next one. I lumped these two products, the Korres Shower Gel and Philosphy face wash, together because I didn't have much to say about them. They are fine products but I am not big on changing up my face wash routine and I am not picky when it comes to body wash, so if I can find a decent wash at a cheap price, it's all good.
Philosphy purity made simple face wash ($32 for 16 oz.)
I really did enjoy this face wash. It had a pleasant smell, felt so gentle, and my face felt toned and oil-free after I used it. It's a great summer wash, but I could see it being drying during the winter and so it wouldn't be very practical for me. Also, despite it working well, I didn't think it did anything another toning face wash wouldn't. So, at $32 for the full sized product, I am going to pass.

If you: have oily or sensitive skin, don't live in drier weather, and have the money, I recommend this product!

Korres Showergel in Fig ($19.50 for 250 ml)
This shower gel smells great, but didn't do anything special (at least not that I could tell in the 6 uses I got out of the bottle) so I couldn't justify spending $19.50 on it. It claims to have anti-aging properties and lots of vitamins, so if you have the cash you might think about getting it!

What did you think of your Birchbox treats this month?
