Tutorial Using Urban Decay's 15th Anniversary Palette

Hey all! Quick post for today as I'm cramming for two tests tomorrow (ick). I placed 1st in a contest Haulblog (haulblog.com or "Haulblog" on youtube) was hosting and won the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette! You can imagine my excitement when I received it in the mail almost a week ago! Because I am kind of a late comer to this palette's party, I was hesitant as to whether I should swatch and review it or not. If you feel one way or the other on the matter, please feel free to tell me in the comments!

Until then, here is the first tutorial I came up with using the eye-catching pink called "Junkshow". Enjoy!

On a non-makeup related note, if you live in the States, today is National Coffee Day! That means that places like 7-Eleven and Caribou Coffee are offering a BOGO FREE deal today. As a student, I can fully appreciate the benefits of a good cup of java and will absolutely be taking them up on the deal. Unlike most, though, I probably won't be sharing :-s

NYX Cosmetics on Hautelook today!

Today, at 10 am central time, NYX cosmetics will be on hautelook.com! Because NYX typically retails at drugstore prices, they will often offer bulk savings on hautelook. So, if you are a fan of NYX, or just looking to try, this sale  could be for you. Personally, I love their eyeshadows, pigments, glitters, and blushes, but would stay away from their eyeliners. I have yet to find one that performs the way I want it to (but that could be due to my finicky, dry eyes). So, there you have it!

Happy Shopping!
