Review and Swatchfest: Too Faced Leopard Love Complexion Perfection Palette

I've said it before and I'll say it again: to me, few things are better than a product that can multitask. While Too Faced Cosmetic's Leopard Love Palette isn't exactly one all-in-one product, it gets pretty darn close.

Too Faced Leopard Love Complextion Perfection Kit

I was partial to this palette from the beginning simply because of it's leopard theme. I'm an animal print girl all the way. This particular kit happens to contain not one, but three leopard print products, all of which have gotten wonderful reviews and one of which is a best seller.

From the left: Peach Leopard, Candy Leopard, and Pink Leopard

The bronzer, Peach Leopard, is a warm, medium-toned brown that is very nearly matte. You can see from the close-up of the pan that there are patches of shimmer, but overall the products is matte which is wonderful for both contouring and bronzing. When blended out, it gives an even, natural glow to even the most sallow of skin tones (ahem, me). Because of its peachy/orange leaning undertones, ultra cool skin tones might find that this isn't quite right for them.

True to the name, the blush, Candy Leopard, is a candy/bubblegum hued (but flattering) pink that, when sheered out can give the sweetest pink glow to the cheeks. It is slightly shimmery (more-so than Peach Leopard), but not overwhelmingly so. It looks wonderful when worn both with the bronzer or alone.

Despite the name, Pink Leopard is a very nearly colorless brightener/highlighter. It is shimmery by nature of the job it is tasked with, but no chunky sparkles. Th effect it gives when blended is a wonderful, subtle glow. The browns and pinks that lace the pan serve to warm the lightest tone up and ward off a white cast that can come with some highlighters.

Each product in the palette is wonderful when used by itself and complementary when used together. That coupled with the leopard print theme and travel friendly packaging sent me over the edge. I am in love with this palette!

While not available on the Too Faced website anymore I checked the website again and it is in the sale section ($27), but I got my palette in a sale on Hautelook, and it's currently on sale at Sephora, as well as being given away on THIS BLOG! Otherwise, Pink Leopard and Peach Leopard are available individually on the Too Faced website. I really recommend not only each product individually, but the whole palette as a well coordinated face on-the-go.
