Review & Swatxhfest: NYX Xtream Lips Cream in Natural and Candy Land

It seems as though I've been on a NYX kick lately! I'm just finally getting through the last of some products I got in a 40% off sale at ULTA. But if NYX is your thing, don't worry, I'll get to the goodies from my IMATS haul soon so there will be more to come!

My fixation with NYX's Xtream Lip Cream began with my first experience with Dolly Girl. While neither of these are nearly as bright as Dolly Girl, they are further proof that NYX does lips well and their Lip Cream formula is consistently stellar from color to color.

You can find the bulk of my review on the Xtream Lip Cream formula in my Dolly Girl review, so I'll just give you highlights here. My favorite aspects of these products is their creaminess, opacity, and gloss. They truly are like liquid lipstick in every way and their staying power is phenomenal. I also find that they give a little added moisture. That being said, if you have dry or cracked lips, these won't fix them.

Natural is a great color for those going for a nude lip. Just be careful, it's warmer undertones make it more complementary to those with  a warm complexion. On my slightly cool, winter skin, I resemble death with on. But, it certainly won't deter me from mixing it with other colors to make it work for me.

Candy Land is almost a bubble gum pink...but not quite. And that's exactly what makes it more wearable.
