Continuing on with the reviews and swatches of products that finalists in the Allure Beauty Blogger Awards received, it's time to get to the Lip Butters. At this point, it's pretty useless to review Revlon Lip Butters as they've been out for nearly a year and most have made up their mind as to whether or not it's love or lust. So, while this will be a review in that I'll describe the Lip Butters and how they wear, think of this as more of post featuring gratuitous swatches (a.k.a. beauty blogger porn).
For those unfamiliar with the buzz around this product, Lip Butters are unique for how moisturizing they are despite having some serious pigmentation. They are like tinted lip balms on steroids. While the balmy finish doesn't last for long (2 hours max), the pigmentation leaves a stain behind on the lips and, in the brighter shades, the stain remains vibrant for 5-6 hours (like a lipstick). Some find the texture to be a little gritty in the shades with shimmer, but I find them to be creamy and easy to apply for the most part. Now for the swatches.
