Review & Swatchfest: Revlon PhotoReady Concealer shades 001 - 006

Continuing on with the reviews of products I received for the 5th Challenge of the Allure Beauty Blogger Awards, it's time for the PhotoReady Concealers! These concealers are medium to full coverage and work wonders on dark circles! Despite coming in stick form, they are very creamy and apply evenly, and without any tugging, straight from the stick. However, because they are so creamy and thick, applying with a heavy hand can lead to some serious creasing and cakiness. I recommend rubbing it on a finger or the back of your hand to warm it up prior to application so that you can get thinner coats that blend easily into the skin.

While the shade range is relatively limited at 6 shades, their consistency makes it easy to blend one shade into a variety of skin tones and still achieve a perfect match. One issue you might find is that the shades aren't dark enough. While 005 and 006 reach into the mid to dark end of the spectrum, those with deep skin might find the shade "deep" a little too light.

Coloring aside, this is a great product for those looking for an affordable concealer with heavier coverage. Just make sure to apply sparingly and blend!
