LORAC's Lips With Benefits lip glosses aren't just visually pleasing goodies for your makeup stash, but they have good-for-you qualities as well. These sweet-smelling swirls in these glosses stay true to their name and have Vitamins C & E to hydrate your lips as well as give them a sheen.
Another source of sheen in these glosses is the ample amount of glitter running wild throughout. Although it kept my lips looking shiny, it was also resulted in some minor grittiness in the texture. Grittiness aside, the gloss isn't sticky, has an average wear time as far as glosses go, and noticeably moisturize my lips. Two thumbs up for delivering on a claim!
Both of these have a creamy (but not entirely opaque) finish, but Nick is described as a "light pink shimmer" and Chris as a "fuchsia shimmer". I have a love-hate relationship with semi-opaque glosses. Unless I layer them over another solid lip color, I always run the risk of having them sink into lip lines or appear uneven across my lips (as the photos show). Glosses need to be applied relatively frequently to maintain their just-applied sheen and, as a girl who doesn't like to spend a lot of time with makeup upkeep throughout the day, I hate having a gloss that requires time to get just right. Because of that, these glosses lose priority on my "must-have" list, but their cotton candy scent, aesthetic appeal, and lip smoothing properties keeps their score pretty high.
LORAC Lips With Benefits lip glosses are sold for $18, so they will definitely be an investment to some. If you love a deliciously girly looking and relatively moisturizing gloss (and don't mind a little texture), these will be worth it for you!

I might just have to go get a close look into these. I both like these colors I'd probably perches the pearl tone more so than the hot pink. You can mix it up more over lipstick if needed.
