Today's nail of the day is a twist on a manicure I've seen a few times in multiple different places: The matte velvet french mani. While I've only ever seen it in black, I stumbled across this amazing deep red, cream-finish polish from e.l.f. and knew I had to give it a go. After applying two coats of the e.l.f. polish, I topped it off with the Butter London Matte Finish polish (my new favorite matte top coat, by the way!). While I then went back and painted the french tips on with the red polish, I would recommend laying tape down before putting the matte top coat on so that you can bypass that step.
