Unapologetically Strong with Degree Women®: Share Your Story

To celebrate women who are unapologetically strong, Degree Women® is partnering with Erin Andrews, sportscaster with Fox Sports, to talk about her personal journey and achieving her goals. In discussing what inspires her, motivates her, and makes her sweat, Erin tells her unapologetically strong story in the hopes of inspiring you to tell yours. Watch the video and continue reading to hear her unapologetically strong story as well as mine. Then check out the Degree Women® Facebook page  to tell yours for the chance to win $5,000!

Unlike Andrews, I wouldn't call myself "athletic"(unless choosing the stairs over the elevator or scrubbing makeup brushes count). But, I revel in pushing my limits in other ways. I recently graduated with a BS in Astrophysics and juggled a growing beauty blog throughout my final year as an undergraduate. While there were so many amazing people to look up to and support me throughout my endeavors, only I could push myself to success. Ultimately, a personal drive and passion to absorb every last ounce of knowledge I could while I was still in school while continuing to creating new, interesting, quality content on Making Up the Midwest, is what helped me finish strong. Unapologetically strong.

While it might not be the first thing most of us think of, or want to talk about, being unapologetically strong means you need a deodorant that can keep up with you and your ambitious habits. Personally, I can be sweating hard on a run (okay, maybe a jog) or typing away on the blog, but pit stains will never fail to creep up on me. More than just a deodorant that is going to eliminate the smell of sweat, I need one that will stifle the sweat altogether - one that will keep up with me. Part of being unapologetically strong is never having to slow down because someone or something can't keep up. After using Degree Women® Clinical Protection with motionSENSE™ for only a day, I noticed a marked decrease in under arm wetness that only got better the more frequently I wore it. Now, whether I'm hoofing it on my morning commute or flexing some brain power at my desk, I don't have to slow down because my deodorant can keep pace.

Tell your unapologetically strong story on the Degree Women® Facebook page for a chance to win $5,000 to help you achieve your goals - whatever they may be! To kick things off, Degree Women® is hosting a twitter party at 12pm EST today! Follow @DegreeWomen or #DegreeStrong to catch the action!
