Breast Cancer Awareness Month: Streekers in Pink

One of my favorite ways to show support for breast cancer awareness is a streak (or more!) of pink hair. It's a great way to wear your heart on your sleeve, or rather your hair, throughout the month. While others might feel the same way, they also might work in an environment where pink hair doesn't quite fit in. Streekers are for you!

Streekers is a temporary hair color that gives your hair a hot hue until you decide to wash it out. This month, Streekers is giving 100% of the proceeds from the sales of Streekers in Pink to the NBCC. Unfortunately for me, Streekers really only pop on lighter hair colors. On my brown hair, the pink was slightly noticeable as a fucshia discoloration and on dark brown or black hair I imagine it's virtually invisible. Still, the liquid texture really saturated my hair and was easy to apply and any sign of it washed out with one use and worked well when styled with heat tools. Those with lighter hair should absolutely check it out! Streekers are sold both on their website and at ULTA!

Those with darker hair shouldn't despair! While temporary hair color options might not be available, many salons will offer pink streaks for around $10 and most, if not all, of the money will go to a breast cancer fund.

Happy streaking Streeking!
