Victoria's Secret Nail Lacquer in Room Service and Mischief

VS Nail Lacquer in Room Service
I knew Victoria's Secret was ramping up their cosmetics line with new pro products, but I didn't know they were cracking in to the nail polish biz! This is probably due to the fact that I haven't been in a VS store in ages, and these polishes are only sold in stores. Of the six lacquers available, I have two:  Room Service and Mischief.

Room Service, described as "putty", is really more if a brownish taupe with a soft grey shimmer. Mischief, simply put as "blue", is a deep navy with light grey shimmer - perfect for fall. The formula of both of these is very nice in that they are thick and nearly opaque in one go. Mischief is less forgiving than Room Service in terms of how it coats nail ridges, but both dry pretty smoothly with a shiny finish. Both lasted for about 3 days without tip wear which, on me, is slightly above average.

The packaging is very similar to Butter London's, with a rectangular cap that pops off to reveal a more traditional nail polish cap. While the formulas I have aren't as original as some that Butter London have come up with, the formula is almost as good. The price, on the other hand, is less at $12.

Room Service and Mischief are both great fall colors, but the rest of the VS nail Lacquers in the line sound like they will be too. Sex Pistol (metallic pewter), Strike Gold (metallic gold), Steal the Show (metallic rose), and Devilish (deep plum) sound like shades that would have anyone's nails prepped for the season. If these appeal to you, check them out in stores!
