Review & Swatchfest: Styli-Style Glide-on Blush Stick in Peachy Keen and Masquerade

Styli-Style Glide-on Blush Stick

Style-Style Glide-On Blush Sticks are formulated to apply "as a light sheen" but remain buildable. Of the 5 shades available, I have two: Peachy Keen and Masquerade. Peachy Keen is a medium peach with strong orange undertones and soft white shimmer. Masquerade is a brighter, almost berry pink shade without any shimmer. While neither are overwhelmingly bold when applied with one swipe, they are more than sheer and easily buildable.

While they can be applied directly to the cheeks, I sometimes find that it can disturb the foundation underneath, so I like to use a stippling brush to apply. To see my technique, check out the tutorial at the bottom of the post! Both blushes lasted 8 hours without streaking and don't leave a sticky feeling on the cheeks like so many stick blushes can.

All those great things being said, those who don't like fragranced face product will want to be careful with these as they are pretty heavily scented with floral notes. I personally like it, but those who react to fragrance products or just don't like scented product will want to take a whiff before purchasing. Speaking of, ou can currently purchase these at Sears for $5.99. The Styli-Style website is set to relaunch soon with a wider product launch as well.

Overall, I really like these stick blushes and think they are a unique product to the current drugstore-range marketplace. I plan on checking out more shades from the line once they're available in more venues. I recommend these to anyone looking for an affordable stick blush that lasts without streaking, but urge you to watch out if you don't like fragrance.
