Beauty Box 5 Unboxing and Review

A fair number of people have recently asked me about which beauty subscrption service I prefer. I've tried a single month of a few boxes, but the two I've continuously stuck with have been Birchbox and Ipsy (MyGlam). Recently, I was given the opportunity to try Beauty Box 5 and eagerly accepted with the hope that it could serve as an alternative to either, if you are looking for one. Because I get into the nitty gritty in the video, I will break it down into pros and cons and get you up close and personal with the products I received. 

PROS:

- You always receive 5 products.

- Boxes are (really) personalized to your beauty profile.

- While it's $12 monthly, it's only $100 for a year long subscription ($10 cheaper than year-long subscriptions to Birchbox or Ipsy)

- There is a quarterly option where you renew your subscription every three months

- If you refer 5 friends, you get a free box

- From what I can tell, the box consistently contains full-sized products and matches or exceeds the $12 you pay for it.

EDIT: There are discount codes and perks that come with your box each month!

CONS:

- Slightly more expensive on a monthly basis.

- No online "community" associated with it.

Overall, I really recommend this as a service you can rely on for a variety of products each month - a few of which are full-sized. While it might not have the perk of accruing monthly points to be put toward a full-sized product, it sounds like they are more consistent with the value they provide in each box.
