Review & Swatchfest: IT Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Flush in Radiant in Rose

IT Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Flush in Radiant in Rose

IT Cosmetics Vitality Cheek Flush in Radiant Rose is unique compared to many powder blushes in that it not only promises to stain the cheeks, but also provide added skin care benefits too. With Vitamins A, C, and E as well as hyaluronic acid, this blush has the makings of an anti-ager. The vitamins will condition and encourage cell turnover while the hyaluronic acid will bind moisture to the skin to keep it plump and fuller looking. While I didn't notice the roster of ingredients making my skin look better, I didn't notice the dryness that can often come from powder blush (especially in the winter) and it managed to stay in tact all day! I think only very long-term wear could prove or disprove any anti-aging claims the IT Cosmetics makes, but I definitely think the satin finish creates more of a soft-focus effect so that fine lines are blurred (rather than emphasized, as they can be with shimmery blushes).

Although it looks like plum-leaning berry tone in the pan, Radiant Rose blends out to be a somewhat lighter true-rose shade with minimal shimmer. It glides on smoothly and is easily built for anything from a healthy flush to a full-on 80s blush application.

I would recommend this blush for mature skin types that feel like they need a little added moisture, but prefer the consistency of a powder blush. Hyaluronic acid is wonderful at hydrating skin, but might not completely agree with those who have oily skin - especially if you tend to get oily along your cheeks. Still, for a powder blush, I found it very hydrating and long lasting! Vitality Cheek Flush is available on the IT Cosmetics website for $24.
