Review & Swatches: Revlon Photoready Primer + Shadow Palette in Metropolitan

Revlon Photoready Primer + Shadow Palette in Metropolitan

I was so impressed with my experiences with both the Revlon Photoready Primer + Shadow Palettes in Bohemian and Graffiti (see the video review above) that I had to go for another! This time, I went for Metropolitan - a cooler leaning palette with shimmery champagnes, a taupe, deep satin brown, and a shimmery gold. As with the previous two palettes, I'm in love with the smooth texture of the shadows, the even pigmentation, and the fact that you really don't need a cream primer in order for them to last fade-free all day. One thing this palette has that the other didn't is a "sparkle top coat" that actually builds to have nice pigmentation.

Overall, this palette is wonderful - the best of the three I've tried when it comes from having five shadows that are complete winners. Those that like cooler palettes might be particularly partial to this one, but I think it would flatter a wide range of skin undertones. For $10 - not taking into account sales and coupons - this is a great deal from Revlon! To see what these palettes can do, check out the tutorials below!
