I'm back with another em Cosmetics review and, in the spirit of the upcoming holiday season, it's the Party Life Palette! The Life Palette collection is the somewhat of a focal point in the em Cosmetics collection. It includes 24 eyeshadows, 8 lip colors, and 4 blush shades - all of which are removable and easily placed in a travel palette that can fit one complete look. The collection consists of 6 different themes - career, night, day, love, party, and beach (a palette I've already reviewed). While the Beach Life Palette is full of "comfort zone" shades with earthy browns and greens, along with a few shades of orange and blue, the Party Life Palette contains more drama with berries and plums that come in rich metallics and shimmers. You can tell some of the sparkly shades are sparsely pigmented and meant to be "oversprays" of sorts, but the rest are richly pigmented and apply nice and evenly. Unfortunately, it lacks any light or mid-tone matte shades, but it has one deep blue matte. Still, the shade range and spectrum of light to deep shades is impressive and lends to so many looks.

The lip shades in this palette add a little interest with not only sheer and pigmented gloss-textures, but also two that wear exactly like lipsticks - and fantastic lipsticks at that! There is also a nice mix in blush textures with a light shimmery pink, medium shimmery berry, matte medium taupe (great for contouring), and matte hot coral.

Although I mention them in the post I did of the Beach Life Palette, I do want to point out some issues I found with this palette. Housing the lip and powder products in the same palette led to having minimal (but existent) fallout in the lip products - a problem I actually didn't have so much with the Beach Life Palette. Additionally, for being as great as they are, I wish the lip products were bigger. Those things aside, the packaging is sturdy - especially the travel palette, and I've definitely put it to the test!

Use code thehazeleyehoney for 15% off your entire order at emcosmetics.com! While I've loved each Life Palette I've tried (along with a few other em cosmetics products I've tried), I couldn't necessarily recommend it for the $75 price tag considering some of the shortcomings they've had. But for $63 with free shipping - DEFINITELY! Considering the quantity, quality, and versatility of the product you receive, I think it's a fantastic deal that makes for a great gift or personal splurge.

Will you be checking out more of the em by Michelle Phan collection?
