Review & Swatches: Revlon Colorstay Shadow Links

Revlon Colorstay Shadow Links in Copper, Khaki, and Plum

There's a new eyeshadow on the Revlon block! Their ColorStay shadow links bring a new twist to shadow palettes by offering individual shadows ($2.99 a piece) that can be linked together to create customizable palettes.

PROS:

  • Affordable
  • Smooth Texture
  • Relatively evenly pigmented
  • Links clasps are secure, but I wouldn't throw them in my purse and expect them to stay together

CONS:

  • Hard to build up
  • Color payoff isn't great
  • Lasting power leaves something to be desired
  • It becomes expensive to build a palette

These won't break the bank if you decide to give them a go, but if you want a surefire success from Revlon, try their PhotoReady Primer & Eyeshadow Palettes!
