Review & Swatches: Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains in Rio Rush, Miami Fever, LA Exclusive, and Parisian Passion

Revlon Colorstay Moisture Stains are the latest glossy-stain hybrid to make big waves after hitting the beauty shelves! If you love pigmented lip color that stains the lips and leaves a glossy finish, keep on reading (and check out the video above) to see if these are for you!

For starters, I picked up the following shades:
Rio Rush - Bright pink
Miami Fever - Vibrant orange-red
LA Exclusive - Soft baby pink
Parisian Passion - Deep plum

All of these shades have a cream-finish - no glitter or shimmer to speak of. They glide on smoothly and evenly (provided lips are dry) and while the glossy shine wears away with minor eating and drinking, the color lasts for hours - approximately 4-5 hours. The tapered doe-foot tip makes precise reapplication a snap when the time comes!

The only downside I noticed is the scent. These have a very synthetic smell that, while I can't taste or smell once it's on my lips, is definitely noticeable when during application. To those who are sensitive to scent, I recommend the L'Oréal Colour Riche Caresse Aqua Lip Lacquer. The texture and performance is very similar to what I experience with Revlon's Moisture Stains, but with a more pleasant scent.
