Review & Swatches: Revlon Photoready Eye Art Duos in Peach Prism, Desert Dazzle, and Burnished Bling

Revlon's new Eye Art duos will have you doing double takes in your drugstore beauty aisles. These new liquid shadows look nearly identical to Revlon's polish duos, but contain a liquid eyeshadow on one end, and a liquid glitter on the other. I have the following shade duos:

Peach Prism: A metallic champagne shadow, with peach and gold glitter
Desert Dazzle: A metallic khaki green with an antique gold glitter in a clear base
Burnished Bling: A metallic bronze shadow with a copper glitter in a clear base

The liquid shadows are equipped with a doe foot applicator that lays a thick layer of product down. Although it dries down to a powder finish, there's about 30 second worth of play time to blend and distribute the shadow across your lid. Once dry, the shadow is weightless, but intensely pigmented. The lasting power with these isn't perfect when worn alone. I noticed increased flakiness when I didn't prep with a primer. With a base, these are easily worn both flake and fade-free all day long.

The glittery end has a thick brush to apply product. While not small enough to apply a precise liner, it's the perfect size for picking up enough product to sweep across the lid. Once it's dried, the glitter tends to make my lids feel a little more stiff. While not a deal breaker (especially given that they don't affect the wear time of the shadows), it's something those with sensitive eye lids will want to be aware of.

Overall, these are beautiful products for the makeup lover that wants to ramp up the sparkle in their collection this winter. At $7.99 a piece, there's no reason not to give one a try!
