hotdish:
-n Hotdishes are filling, convenient, easy to make, and well-suited for family reunions, funerals, church suppers, and potlucks where they may be paired with potato salad, coleslaw, jello salad and deserts, and pan-baked cookies known as bars. hotdish:
-n A college girl consumed by makeup, transplanted from Texas to Minnesota, desperately trying to maintain a sense of fashion, beauty, and warmth in the arctic circle*.
Now that you have the lingo down, here is a little more about me:
While I would like for makeup to be my main squeeze, I am currently working on a major in astrophysics at a college located in the Great White North. Yes, folks. All of that makeup is hiding not only blemishes and under-eye bags, but my inner nerd. When I'm not studying, doing homework, doing makeup, swatching, or filming, I enjoy puppies, shopping for makeup, harassing my little sister, and a cappella-ing. Things I don't enjoy are snow drifts, ice patches, frozen snot, UGGs out of necessity, and events that start at the call of the loon**.
My intent with this blog is that it not only provide an outlet for my non-sciency self, but that it helps all of those reading realize their inner hotdish.
